Matthew is a Senior Consultant with Occam Group, a Bristol based Engineering Consultancy.
Prior to taking up his role at Occam, Matthew was an employee of UK Defence Equipment and Support holding various roles over an 11-year period with the focus of his time integrating Weapons and Explosives onto Naval Ships. Matthew was awarded a commendation by Director Ship Support for his implementation of a Safety Management System to manage explosive hazards on board the Royal Fleet Auxiliary ships.
Matthew is a graduate of The Open University and Cranfield University where he achieved an MSc in Advanced Materials, which began his interest in novel materials and their applications to solve problems such as those found in Molten Salt Reactors. Matt is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
