Pramod Ghimire

Senior Software Engineer, Kongsberg Digital

Pramod Ghimire received the Ph.D. degree in Marine Technology from Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway, in 2022. He is with Kongsberg Group since 2012, and currently working as a senior software engineer at the Department of Maritime Simulation, Kongsberg Digital, Norway. His current research interests include mathematical modeling and simulation of various ship systems, hybridization of ship power systems, and analyzing energy efficiency and emissions in different marine vessels.

Dr Mehdi Zadeh

Professor, Norwegian University of Science and Technology

Dr. Mehdi Zadeh is a Professor of Marine Electrification at NTNU Department of Marine Technology, Trondheim. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NTNU, Trondheim, and is a Senior Member of IEEE. Dr. Zadeh is actively involved as principal investigator in Horizon Europe projects focused on sustainable maritime solutions. His research interests include electrification for zero-emission and autonomous shipping, onboard and hybrid DC power systems, offshore renewable energy systems, and sustainable ports.
