About the Speakers
David Ewing is Product Manager EMEA at Protolabs, where he leads the company's CNC product development. David has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and product management. Prior to joining Protolabs, David contributed to engineering improvement and innovation at Renishaw, BOC Edwards and Bosch. David has an Aerospace manufacturing degree and is an IMechE Chartered Engineer.
Rodrigo Perez is Software Engineering Senior Director (Marine) at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Rodrigo holds both a PhD and a MSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering. He previously worked at Siemens as Global Portfolio Development Director (Marine). Combining his activity in the industry, he is a professor in the Marine Engineering School of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), he has published several books and written more than one hundred technical papers about marine engineering.
Charlie Reith is Director of Seaflo Consultancy, specialist providers of subsea, project and asset management related services. Charlie is an experienced subsea and marine engineering professional, with experience including the conducting of marine assurance reviews of offshore facilities FPSO- FSO-FSRU-LNG assets, subsea well integrity and subsea maintenance life cycle operations.
