Upcoming Technical Visit and Joint Football Event with the Guangdong Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (GDSNAME)
The event will be firstly commenced with the technical visit in the广州海工船舶设备有限公司, Guangzhou Haigong Marine Co. Ltd. Established in 2005, Guangzhou Haigong Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. is also a high-tech enterprise in Guangdong Province. Its main business is the development of Marine high-end equipment such as shaft-less Marine electric propeller, intelligent unmanned boat, steering engine, and windlass, and the distribution of various Marine equipment such as refrigeration and cranes. The main product of Guangzhou Haigong shaft-less Marine propulsion system has the advantages of high efficiency, low noise, high reliability and small size compared with traditional products. It is the fourth generation of Marine electric propulsion system in the world. Over the years, there have been thousands of sets of various types of products, widely used in warships, yachts, tourist boats, tugs, fishing boats, engineering ships, transport ships and other ship types.
After the technical visit to the marine equipment company, we will be heading to中船黄埔文冲船舶有限公司歷史館, Zhongchuan Huangpu Wenchong Shipping Co. Ltd. Museum. It is located in Huangpu, Guangzhou City. The former of company was named Couper Dock, which was founded in 1851. It was the first industrial company ventured by foreign capital in China, and was one of the four famous navy docks in Qing Dynasty. Due to its background, the company museum is a showcase of history and development of Huangpu Wenchong Shipping Company.
After two technical visits, we will be participating in a joint football event with the Guangdong Society of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (GDSNAME) in the afternoon. The GDSNAME, which is established in 1957 and governed by the Guangzhou Association for Science and Technology, is composed of the shipbuilding and marine engineering manufacturing-related shipbuilding companies, R&D, design institutes and universities in Guangdong Province. The GDSNAME serves to organise maritime technology exchange activities and to promote the innovative development in the Guangdong maritime industry.
