The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST) Houston Branch, in collaboration with Texas A&M University Galveston Campus, recently hosted a special event on January 27, 2025. Joined by the WIMOs Association and SNAME/MTS Galveston Student Chapter, key speakers from the IMarEST Houston Branch Executives, including Nimi Abili, Roger Burnison, Paul Jukes, and Venkat Chakkarapani, shared insights on 'Transitioning into the Industry with IMarEST Career Professional Development (CPD)'.

IMarEST Houston (US Gulf Coast) Branch offers valuable mentorship and extensive resources, including Special Interest Groups (SIGs), to support students in their journey towards a successful career start. We look forward in working with the University to advance career developments of the students.

A special appreciation goes to Texas A&M Galveston Undergraduate Students in Marine Engineering Technology and Ocean Engineering, namely Sophia Falquist and Caleb Ward, and Powell Chair Professor Alok Verma, and Professor Vanicha McQueen, for graciously hosting this enlightening event!
