Call for Papers for inaugural marine engineering and technology conference – ICMET Oman 2019

The Call for Papers is now open for the inaugural International Conference on Marine Engineering & Technology Oman (ICMET Oman). This new conference has been organised by the Military Technological College (MTC) in Oman together with the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology (IMarEST).

Taking place 5-7 November 2019 at the forward-thinking college in Muscat, delegates will visit the strikingly beautiful Gulf of Oman, which has a rich maritime history dating back more than a millennium. They will be involved in high level discussions under an overarching theme of “innovative solutions for future needs”.

“We are delighted to be able to provide this unique forum for professional engineers and technologists from across the world to share the very latest thinking and development." David Loosley, Chief Executive, IMarEST.

“We are excited to host an international event of this magnitude, an opportunity for our professional colleagues to visit our hospitable Sultanate of Oman and expand their network with researchers and designers from academia alongside developers, technical providers and policy makers from public and private sector organisations.” Engineer Abdullah Said Najman Al Balushi, Head of Marine Engineering Department, MTC.

Relevant to the international community, the future of technologies and developments within a number of key topics will be explored, including:
