A new series of events: IMarEST On The Radar
The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology has launched a new series of events: On The Radar. Taking the form of live 90-minute sessions, these events will highlight cutting-edge developments in the marine sector. Experts within a specialist area will form a panel to discuss a technical issue or a trend that is becoming increasingly important to the industry.
The first event in the series will include a discussion on the use of digital twins in the imminent transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy. Looking at the digitalisation of marine and subsea assets, panellists will also examine the transfer of skills that will be required for this transition to take place, taking knowledge from the oil and gas sector into the green energy space.
Presenters and panellists of the On The Radar series will have the opportunity to reach a vast audience spanning the global marine industry, including both IMarEST members and the general public. They will be able to provide an in-depth examination of some of the most exciting areas of progress in the marine world. If you'd like to run an event in this series, please email [email protected].
