What does the role involve?
This is often not a recurring role, and you may only ever be required to review one title.
You'll work with our Books Editor to help compose a brief report for consideration by our Publications Supervisory Board (PSB). The length and content of the report differs based on what stage of review the book is at, e.g. books at final stage require only a very brief review rather than full scale changes.
This role is flexible and can work around your commitments. For example, you may be able to get a report done in one week during your free time, or it may take longer if you are required to carefully read and make assessments on every page and chapter.
Responsibilities
- Undertake a review of a specific book or chapter(s) of a book as directed
- Use your subject matter expertise to suggest edits or identify errors within the publication
- Collaborate with our Books Editor to build a report for the Publications Supervisory Board, complete with a reccomendation
