The future of marine fuels remains uncertain, as it is yet to be determined which specific fuel or combination of fuels will emerge. The utilization, handling, and storage of these fuels will deviate from current industry practices, giving rise to an uncontrollable level of uncertainty and a variety of perspectives among involved parties.

The transition to new fuels requires the collaboration of the fuel suppliers, operators, and ship owners. In this mini-symposium the Port of Rotterdam Authority, Samskip, Anthony Veder and Delft University of Technology will elaborate on their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities inherent in this pivotal shift within the maritime industry.

After the symposium, we will join haring party 010 for dinner and drinks.
