The Stanley Gray Lecture returns for 2024, where this year's edition will combine the event with the premiere of an exciting new project.
The IMarEST has partnered with Content With Purpose (CWP) to produce an extensive digital series exploring the profound role of marine professionals in fostering a thriving blue economy, while protecting our ocean and its invaluable resources.
Guests can expect to hear from a panel of experts from all aspects of the marine industry, including marine scientists, sustainability leads and ocean governance professionals, as well as some introductions from IMarEST Chief Executive Chris Goldsworthy and CWP founder Max Smith.
The premiere of Oceans of Opportunity: A Change of Tide will feature a special keynote presentation and panel discussion on the following question:
How should the global community of engineers, scientists and technologists best harness innovative thought, research, and technology to accelerate the development of a sustainable and responsible maritime sector that benefits people and the planet?
