Our first speaker, Wouter de Wildt, analyses the challenges and future of the offshore wind market (2030-2040) . He translates these trends into a (vessel) concept to best serve Van Oord's clients. Besides, Wouter works on innovations for Offshore Wind foundations and turbine installation. His lecture will focus on the challenges and future of the offshore wind market and how we adopt this into our vessel design.

Seaqualize develops and delivers heavy lift inline Active Heave Compensation (AHC) tools for the offshore (wind) market. With their technology, Seaqualize opens up the road to floating installation of offshore wind turbine components and even complete turbines at once. Joris will be able to give us technical insights in Sequalizes AHC and sketch what that could mean for the future of offshore windfarms.
