In an increasingly digital world, previously clear demarcation between the marine sector and weapons systems is now becoming less obvious, with platform and combat management software increasingly hosted on the same hardware.

Engine as a Weapon XI (EAAW XI) seeks to explore where new technologies and techniques can be implemented to increase warfighting advantage, with the conference discussing research that spans across a wide range of existing and developing fields.

Who is EAAW XI for?

Everyone is welcome, but EAAW XI will be of particular interest to:

  • Professionals and leaders with an interest in platform and marine systems as well as combat and weapon systems
  • Engineers, scientists and technologists
  • Researchers, designers, consultants, manufacturers, integrators, maintainers, operators
  • Those employed in government, industry and academia
  • Graduates, students and apprentices

What can I expect?

Speakers and teams representing marine businesses and organisations around the world will come together to share research on warfighting capability, with over 20 technical presentations across the two-day event in Portsmouth, UK.

Guests can expect lunch and regular breaks in between presentations, designed for you to make the most of potential new contacts and friends.

Rounding off Day One will be our gala dinner, a grand three-course meal with your fellow guests, authors and other industry leaders.

The dinner is a great opportunity to develop relationships and relax in a social setting with colleagues old or new.
