About the presentation:
The global FPSO tonnage is growing and are quite varied regarding age, size, design and arrangements. With many of them well over 15 years since their keel laying date, the integrity and maintenance requires a greater portion of the available resources. Alternatively, newer FPSOs are some of the largest ever built with similar challenges experienced during operations. Opportunities exist to support FPSO operations and maintenance, and could be embraced by procedural improvements, application of new technologies, design improvements and usage of digital solutions.
This presentation discusses some of the main challenges encountered in Integrity Management of FPSOs and the new tools, practices and technology that could be applied across a diverse FPSO fleet, potentially improving the operations and maintenance, and more effective performance that aligns with the culture of the offshore oil and gas industry.
