The Guild of Benevolence (the partner charity of the IMarEST) is making grants of £750 available to those studying for the MCA Certificate of Competency Management Level III/2 Engineering Knowledge. This grant is intended for anyone who might be affected by a loss of earnings, as a result of any unpaid leave from active service that is necessary to study for the certificate.

With the Guild originating from the Titanic Engineering Staff Memorial Benevolent Fund, which was set up in 1912 by the Institute as a result of all 35 engineers on board losing their lives, our main focus currently is to help those in need within the marine community.
